True freedom Trust is a Christian support and teaching ministry for men and women who accept the Bible's prohibition of homosexual practice and yet are aware of homosexual tendencies, or struggle with other sexual and relational issues. We also offer support to families, friends and church leaders of those who face these issues in their lives. TfT was founded in 1977 by Martin Hallett and the late Canon L Roy Barker.
Our office is in the North West of England where our staff workers are based. We have Support Groups and Voluntary Workers (men & women) across the UK. We also provide help
and encouragement to people overseas through e-mail and correspondence. In addition we have four private e-mail support groups for TfT members - for men, women, wives and parents.

Our Annual Conference in October 2008 was entitled "Between the Bible and the Brain". Our speakers were Glynn Harrison and Jonathan Berry. Their talks are available on CD. Please contact us if you would like to order these. The dates of the Annual Conference in 2009 are 2nd to 4th October .
The 2008 London Day Conference was held on 5th April.. An event in Belfast was held on 1st November 2008.
Ways Forward With Christ is a 10 session course produced by TfT and designed for members who want to work through issues related to sexuality in a confidential & committed group environment. The sessions cover a wide variety of subjects including The Bible & Sexuality, Addiction & Dependency, Low Self-Esteem, Hope & Healing, Valuing Our Stories, My Ministry in the Church, and Relationships.
