Pray for TfT
We would value your prayers for our ministry. If you join our membership, we will send you a quarterly prayer card along with our newsletter to inform you of specific prayer points.
If you would like to prayer for us more generally, we always need prayers in these areas:
- God’s continued provision in terms of finance and resources
- Individuals coming to us for help - that they would find love, encouragements and support
- Our staff team as they co-ordinate the ministry, offer support and organise events
- Our team of Voluntary Workers, as they lead Barnabas support groups and meet with new contacts
- Our speakers, as they share their own stories and help the church to remain faithful to the Bible's teachings
- TfT's profile and influence on the wider church

I know New Year can be a tough time for singles. Here are some ideas for a pleasant time and some realistic resolutions.
Try spending time with family. I had invites from friends in London but to be honest I dont find that kind of celebration appealling. I enjoy a drink but I dont need to get blotto to have a good time. This year I am going down to my sisters and we will have an evening of silly games with her children, have a bit of impromptu music and then crack open a bottle of bubbly at midnight.
If you are in a good church, why not get together with them? Last year I went round my pastor's house and again we had good food, jokes, set off chinese lanterns in the garden around midnight and had plenty of hugs to go round.
In the new year it is good to make new beginnings in your walk with God. Many of us struggle with pornography so maybe you could try the Way of Purity course at www.settingcaptivesfree.com. If alcohol or smoking is a problem for you they also have courses for those (Breath of Life and New Wine).
Join with me in a campaign to keep the internet pure - I have facebook groups for Prayer for Healing and Just for Fun - good clean jokes that wont embarrass your mother or even your grandmother! I would especially like people to join the Healing group as there seem to be so many people in bad health at the moment and praying for them is very effective.
Anyway have a great 2012 and lets continue to help one another out wherever we can.
