Sarah is employed in the UK by Greater Europe Mission (GEM). As part of their mission to see the UK and Europe transformed by Jesus, GEM has seconded Sarah for part of her work to True Freedom Trust where she serves as Pastoral Team Manager. In this role, Sarah facilitates pastoral care and discipleship, by overseeing TFT small groups and one-on-one pastoral chats, helping new contacts and members receive the most suitable support. She also manages and trains the TFT voluntary workers serving in pastoral care.
Sarah joined the staff team at TFT in 2025, after being involved in TFT since 2020 as a member and then as a voluntary worker. Although trained as a secondary school teacher, most of Sarah’s work experience has been serving in Christian ministry both in the USA where she is from and as a missionary in Poland for 7.5 years. In addition to her work with TFT, she currently serves GEM as an internal consultant on topics of sexuality and gender and serves in local ministry in the UK as part of an FIEC church.
Sarah has an MA in Church Ministries and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Faith and Culture. Her dissertation project focuses on equipping voluntary workers to disciple same-sex attracted believers. Apart from work and studies, Sarah can often be found having an adventure outside – camping, hiking, cycling, kayaking, swimming in the sea, or laying in a hammock. She also enjoys a good game night with friends and breaking into song at every possible opportunity.
